Opening the CMD through task manager and via shortcut (Standard and admin)

Windows 10, Command Prompt has been accessible for quite a while, and it is a fundamental device that permits anybody to execute orders to change the system settings, run non-graphical devices, (for example, netsh, diskpart, netstat, powercfg, dism, sfc, chcksk, and ipconfig), investigate issues, and mechanize errands on their personal computer or PC.

We already know the different ways to open the command prompt through Windows hotkey + R and from the start-up windows searching for command prompt. In this post, we are going to see how to open the command prompt through the shortcut key and via the task manager.

Opening the Command Prompt through the task manager

Step 1: Select the Windows start button and search for Task Manager or use the shortcut key CTRL+SHIFT+ESC Keys to open the task manager.

Step 2: Select the File Menu and click on the New Task option.

Step 3: Type cmd to open the command prompt. Put a checkmark, if you would like to open the command prompt with administrative privileges and select OK.

Step 1: Right-Click on the desktop and then select the New->Shortcut.

Step 2: On the Create Shortcut window, enter cmd.exe under Type the location of item and then select Next.

Step 4:
 Type a name for this shortcut and select Finish.

Step 5:
 You will see the shortcut cmd file on the desktop. If you like to run this shortcut file in admin mode, then right-click on the shortcut(e.g., cmd) filename->Properties->shortcut->Advanced-> Select Run as administrator.
